Blessed with brilliant sunshine all week The Meteksan Archery World Cup tournament has ended at the Duke of York's School in Dover, with Team GB winning two silver medals and two bronze on the final day.
The final days action completed a thrilling week of archery on the South East coast, with the event winning much praise from archers and visitors alike. The highlights of Sunday's action saw Britain's Alan Wills and Dola Banerjee of India clinch places at the Grand Final in Dubai, which takes place in November

Gwyn Prosser, Member of Parliamentary for Dover was unable to attend the archery. He has given Harbour School in Dover tickets to the World Cup Archery to help them towards their target to raise £ 1,500 for archer equipment. The senior school already does archery but in September the junior school will start archery in their new sports hall. The school will also receive 3 bosses and targets as a legacy from the World Cup Archery.
